Yoga at Carey’s Secret Garden, Saturday 20th June / 9.00-10.15am / Wareham, Dorset
Welcome to this beautiful morning of Yoga in the magical walled garden of Carey’s Secret Garden — a very special offering that invites you to receive the holding of Mother Nature, the embodied feminine practice of yoga, and the collective nourishment of a shared female experience.
Join Sonja at Carey’s Secret Garden for a morning of nature meditation and gentle yoga, a deeply restorative practice deigned to suit your body at your level of mobility, and an invitation to receive natures most soothing sounds, scent and beauty.
The Morning
9.00am — Opening circle and meditative arrival
9.15am — Slow & gentle yoga practice to invite embodied presence and deep physical nourishment.
10.00-10.15am — Restorative Sivasana
Our Container
Our circle will hold women only — an intimate gathering that allows real space for connection.
Our morning is carefully curated to move us through a journey from connection to nature, to body, and to the liminal field - a journey of depth and truth.
You are invited to join Sonja afterwards for coffee at the Salty Pig in the garden. If you feel called to stay quiet and solitary, there is space for that. If you feel called to chat and meet others, there is space for that too. There is no expectation of you other than to arrive as yourself, in whatever form that takes on this special, gentle and nourishing morning.

Sonja is a depth practitioner of Core Process Psychotherapy with a private practice in Poole and has been sharing yoga since 2005.
Abby Andrews is the official yoga teacher for Careys Secret Garden and she offers yoga every Saturday morning throughout the Summer 9-10.15am. You can find Abby on instagram @therootandtheritual
Both of us live in Poole, Dorset and share the love of authentic spaces for women to gather and come into honest, safe relationship.
Our Location
Carey’s Secret Garden is located close to Wareham on the Carey’s Estate. Home to the Osprey and herds of deer, entering Carey’s is like stepping back in time. Wend your way through the woods towards the walled garden where the space opens out into a peaceful, traditional English garden with orchard, fruit trees and rose garden. Our yoga space is the clover lawn in the shade of an ancient oak tree.
