Psychotherapy is an opportunity to go beneath the symptoms of your suffering to truly understand the ways in which your past holds you back.
Through psychotherapy we offer time and space for you to do the in-depth work of coming into contact with the deeper layers of yourself. Sometimes it feels like an unravelling but in fact it is a gentle unfolding of your whole, authentic being. Together we explore the opportunity to acknowledge, name and feel all the parts of yourself, enabling your whole self to be witnessed in a safe and compassionate holding.
In time, the feelings and habits that dominate your everyday life, sabotage your wellbeing and compromise your relationships are met and identified. Acknowledging and allowing the truth of all your parts and experiences creates space for you to lay down what is no longer true. In the clarity of this process your authentic self emerges.
The enquiry is not an intellectual process but one that emerges from somatic felt sense and alchemises in the field of relationship.
CPP is an invitation to explore the ways in which we move through life, acknowledging that we see through a lens of conditioning that colours the way we relate to ourselves, one another and the world.
Often, we are following young patterns that originated as an intelligent response to life, keeping us safe and cultivating relational connections needed for our survival.
As we become adult, these patterns may no longer serve us and yet we have become blind to their existence. There may be parts of ourselves rejected or disallowed that hold the key to the expression of who we really are.

People often seek therapy because of the pain of their suffering which is natural to want to avoid. We develop intelligent strategies to manage and by-pass difficult feelings which can become blind spots as our survival strategies colour our lens and shape our responses.
Too often, the very suffering we hope to avoid becomes the inevitable outcome of our coping mechanisms.
The invitation in CPP is to gently bring awareness to what is hidden in the safety of a relationship that holds compassionate and emotional maturity which can be hard to find in everyday life.
Here, in the relational therapeutic space, we have space to unfold and find access to a doorway back home to our true self.

Psychotherapy is a call to emotional maturity which takes time and commitment.
By inquiring into the origin of your suffering story you may allow a more honest understanding of the ways you isolate, defend, sabotage or stay closed to life.
My approach is holistic and embodied with an intention to support you to notice the ways that clinging tightly to stories or fiercely rejecting reality contributes towards your own suffering.
Over time, what begins as a deepening into personal, private, compassionate self awareness opens up into an increased capacity for relationship and compassionate appreciation for others.
Our journey begins with a free 30 minute call online where I can learn about your needs and intention.
If we agree to work together we will begin with a commitment to 6 weeks either online or in person.
From there, each relationship is unique. For some people our work together is a short journey and for others it can become a long term guiding anchor for consistent remembering of inherent wholeness.

We begin with a free 30 minute online session to get a feel for your needs and intention with therapy, also allowing you to get a feel for working with me.
Your initial commitment will be 6 × 60 minute sessions, which will repeat weekly at the same time / same day over a 6 week period.
After the initial 6 weeks, if we choose to continue our journey together, your commitment will be weekly sessions repeating at the same time / same day each week.
Daytime sessions can be held in person or online, evening sessions are available online.

Online sessions are currrently hosted on zoom. You will receive a zoom link from me via email.
In person sessions are hosted at my practice space in Poole, Dorset which is within my home. I have a dog so this may be something to consider when choosing your path.
