OMR IS A PRACTICE BASED ONLINE MEDITATION SPACE DESIGNED TO ANCHOR THE TRUE ESSENCE OF YOU IN YOUR LIFE.

Staying clear & connected to your true self whilst negotiating the external noise of everyday life can be hard. OMR is designed to keep you aligned by removing the blocks and anchoring each day in connection to the quiet voice of truth within.

OMR is your foundation practice for ensuring that your day starts rooted in your true self before the agendas of the world steer you.

Honest benefits of a consistent meditation practice

Loving Kindness Meditation reliably increases positive emotions — joy, gratitude, serenity, and curiosity — which deepen over time into a lasting psychological resource (Fredrickson).

As women, we can be brutally hard on ourselves. Research shows that self-criticism and shame reduce significantly with consistent practice, making it transformational for those with a strong inner critic.

In the busyness and noise of modern life, it can feel surprisingly lonely. Regular practice cultivates a deeper sense of connection and belonging, opening our capacity to be warm and understanding towards others.

Self-regulation skills allow us to recover more swiftly from stress and emotional overwhelm. A witness state of mind disentangles us from our environment, offering spaciousness in how we respond to life.

We often struggle to rest as the mind whirls with problem-solving. Strengthening interoception — sensing the body from within — makes it easier to drop out of the head and arrive fully in the body.

Consistent practice creates structural changes in the brain’s neural pathways, reducing symptoms of depression and PTSD. Perhaps most remarkably, it also reduces the intensity of both physical pain and emotional suffering.

Here’s how OMR works

6.25am - open zoom & get seated

6.30am - shared practice for 30 minutes

7am - finish

OMR live sessions

OMR live practices are open to all OMR members Monday to Thursday 6.30am UK time.

Smaller What’s App Groups

As a member of OMR you will be invited to join a smaller circle on Whats App, no bigger than 12 women per group. You can engage as much or little as you choose.

The invitation is to use this space to connect with practitioners & share your experience within a more intimate group.

  • Our practices are deeply feminine, embodied and compassionate. Each day is a different focus:

    Monday - Shared Silence

    Tuesday - Mantra Meditation

    Wednesday - Guided Meditation with Sonja

    Thursday - Breath Meditation / Pranayama

  • OMR is open to women, children, babies and all household pets. You are welcome in your pyjamas, from your bed, from the sofa or wherever you find a moment of quiet. Best OMR moment ever? A mother breast feeding during practice.

  • Yes and it’s suitable for experienced practitioners too. OMR is designed to hold the space for you - your experience in the moment will match exactly where you are with your practice.

  • Yes. Each week one or two of the live practices are recorded and placed within the Whats App group for you to revisit.

  • You will need wifi, zoom and somewhere to sit. That’s all.
