MULA BANDHA

When I learnt ashtanga yoga, I learned about mula bandha. Root lock. Engaging the perineum.

So I did, for a decade.

With all the fine tuning of a sledge hammer, I clenched for 10 years.

How strange that I still pee’d myself if I laughed on the trampoline.

“Wake up. You don’t need to clench so hard.”
