Lessons from my Jade Egg #3


My partner worked abroad so I was often alone for weeks on end.  I was living in France with a toddler and new born baby.  I felt lonely, uninspired, isolated and a failure. 

My interest in the Jade Egg was purely physical.  I wanted to get pelvic floor muscle strength back.  I practiced with my breath - inhale squeeze and lift / exhale release.  Squeeze and lift.  Relax and release.  Deep breath in.  Deep breath out. Over and over.  

My breath slowed.  I calmed.  Blood flow increased.  Nerve ending ignited.  My body came alive.  I became a container for indescribable pleasure that moved through me like an ocean wave.  Holy Guacamole - there's nothing wrong with me.
